If it’s not appalling enough that Dr Who have made unfunny Kopite wool John “Scouse for Cash” Bishop a companion, it goes and makes The Doctor a Kopite too as she gets all excited about landing outside Anfield during the “Klopp Era”, saying she’s been to one game several times and rather bizarrely that “she used to be a ball boy for Trent” which doesn’t work on any level. Then again is it any surprise really when she’s from further away than Norway? I’m surprised she didn’t have the words to YAWN printed out and laminated.

I’m trying to work out if Bishops over the top Carraghature (lives next door to Anfield, house is full of framed LFC shirts, red mood lighting in his house etc) is an accurate portrayal of a Kult member or are they taking the piss out him without him noticing?

Appalling stuff, if I paid my licence fee, I’d ask for my money back.

That said, The Dr and Yaz seemed a lot better acted with less clunky dialogue. The green screen nonsense at the beginning was poorly executed and there was far too much exposition for far too many storylines going on. Other than that the first episode was all right I suppose. It was good to see GOT’s own @Bungle onscreen as well playing a badly thought-out Space Dog Kidnapper, though his Mancunian accent was a bit strange .

What are your thoughts on it?

How old are you ? It's a programme for kids.

I used to like watching Dr Who in the past, the David Tennant and Chris Eccleston ones were boss and the Matt smith one had its moments.

Lost interest when they changed show runner and the show became a tick box exercise for the LGBT community on purpose. Saw a youtuber (also a semi famous author in his spare time, found that out way after watching his reviews of movies etc) break down the last series of dr who and how it goes out of its way to be as inclusive as possible even if it makes no sense to the story. That and the fact that the current writers have rewritten the entire backstory of Dr Who to suit what they wanted to do, so sod the 60 years of dr who before it, essentially changing the show for their current demand rather than build on the lore.

they have killed Dr Who off almost literally, it is nowhere near as popular as it was away from the die hard fans, viewership apparantly dropped significantly.

If that is what the new season starts like, be arsed giving it another go now.

The third season was the best, and it’s been on a decline ever since.

Human Nature / Family of Blood and especially Blink were fantastic TV, and the whole cast was surprisingly good (apart from John Simm).
