If you are going to watch us at Hull on Sunday ask one of the locals to say toad. It sounds like turd. The council put 23 toads around the city, some tribute to the poet Larkin, and when the locals would talk about them, 'what do you think of those toads, (but sounding like turds) in the city that people are looking at', was highly amusing.
