*hopefully the young protestor who got beaten so badly he had bleeding on the brain will pull through, but if he doesn't I'll write the script for you. Its not hard, this is the same one they always use.

  • Met releases statement passing on condolences and setting up an investigation.
  • Independent Inquiry launched
  • Police reveal that CCTV of nearby area was not functioning, failed to record etc.
  • Not one of the Police Camera Surveillance cameras pick up the event - even though the police are taping everything.
  • Police appointed Coroner reveals Protestor died from spontaneous brain embolism unrelated to blunt force trauma from ‘truncheon’ like object.
  • Coroner appointed by family reveals he was bludgeoned to death by a truncheon wielding policeman, a diagnosis confirmed by independent coroners.
  • Mobile phone footage captures Policeman battering peaceful protestor, trapped at the front of the barricades of a vicious kettling manoeuvre.
  • Policeman suspened on full pay.
  • Further footage reveals even more lurid and high resolution video of policeman attacking victim.
  • Details emerge this is the fifth time the same policeman has been investigated for brutality.
  • Investigators reveal policeman had been on internet forum, boasting about beating students up tonight. He sad, “I’m gonna kill the little bastards”
  • Goes to crown court.
  • Policeman found not guilty.
  • Inquiry by Lord Sir Tory Snootynose CambridgeandEtoneducated Establishment Smythe-jones is a complete whitewash.
  • Policeman goes back to ‘work’ (if you call violently assaulting children, teenagers and young people, work) with the murdering scum that represent the strong arm of the government, enforcing the law of the rich over the poor, and the privileged few over the striving masses.
  • Zero political capital made of the fact that not only are the police murdering the citizens they are meant to protect and serve and acting as some sort of instrument of political will stopping our peaceful rights to protest; but that they consistantly lie to us and do anything to escape culpability. zero talk of reforming the police as usual.

Sorry mate, but when you have a large group of thugs (which is what they were the other day) lobbing things at people just doing their job, as well as lobbing stuff at horses, urinating on the statue of Winston Churchill and swinging on the cenotaph, then those thugs getting at the very least a smack over the head is fair play in my book.

There have been a few very dubious activities from the police but the other day wasn't one of them.

Another thread full of generalisations.

Frankly lad, I think that the anarchists are to blame.

I saw them armed with scaffolding poles.

This "blame the police" first mentality is a sickener. Because lad without the police who's going to stop the anarchists destroying out communities?

Nah. The copper involved should have avoided hitting the head - unless his or anothers life was in danger.

But I remember PC Sharon Beshenivsky, PC Keith Blakelock, PC David Rathband injured in the line of duty and the others.

There may be some corrupt or incompetent officers around.

But to make a thread like this is an insult to all the genuine police officers who work to keep our communities safe lad.

[Poor language removed] the police.

Disgrace of an attitude.

Will you say that when you need them when someone's broken into your house? Attacked your missues or you've had a car crash.

Like I said. Selfish. Arrogant. Disgraceful attitude.

They're here to protect the government.

They are the strong arm of the state. But then I guess you've never been on a protest. Or been on the other side of them

Actually mate they are. They are here to KEEP THE PEACE.

Public Order Act.

People can demonstrate peacefully. They cannot force entry to buildings and they cannot defile public monuments.

War monuments - erected in the memory of our dead relatives who fought to allow the protesters the right to PEACEFUL protest.

Mine included!

It is in being denied the right to protest peacefully, when and where people choose, that these things become violent. Kettling is another aggressive tactic.

As for statues of Churchill and the Cenotaph. they are symbols not sacraments. The land and the object itself isn't holy. It can't be defiled. People laid down their lives so that the people of England would be free.

Seems like some of the protesters will have to give up their lives before we have freedom from the political interference of one of the most corrupt police forces in the western world.

Kettling is a tactic to stop ANARCHISTS within the crowd armed with scaffolding poles - from breaking off and trying to force entry and destroying buildings and committing violence.

You're attempts at self-justification are a symptom and the cause.

It's SELFISH. Its ARROGANT. and it's all about you.

Had the crowd not been armed with scaffolding poles. Ripping up slabs of concrete. Do you really think Kettling would be being used?

OF COURSE NOT!

And another thing. The monuments are a TRIBUTE from the People to the war dead. So what does it say when idiots and anarchists are defiling them. Its as if we are condoning that behaviour.

Or are you saying people urinating on a war monument is ok?

JOKE lad. JOKE of opinions you have.

I see you've never been on a protest. Is that how it looks from the settee? Bless.

I've protested plenty of times. However, smashing up the place is less effective than talking.

Obviously no one taught you that.

The pen is mightier than the sword lad.

It is indeed.

The world watches England and sees its politically motivated police brutality, its poor citizens protesting against a state blinkered and deaf to its cries. The world watches and the journalists, the writers, the artists, the film makers, the musicians, the bloggers, people on the internet - they will write about it.

Hopefully this will gather enough impetus for a full scale insurrection.

So I say again, and say it in the knowledge I am not alone;

[Poor language removed] this government and [Poor language removed] its police force.

Yes yes. The typical cry of the revolutionary anarchist.

Talking is better than violence.

But your sort never learn.

Here was the scary bit from the past few days: the coppers stating that Jug Head Charles' body guards were prepared to pull a gun and use it on protestors using sticks and paint to deface the Royal parasites' car.

How the **** has that madness gone uncommented on?
