Profile Picture on threads

I note that when some folk post, what I suspect is their profile picture appears against their name. I have checked the settings but can't see how you make this happen. I'd appreciate a steer?

In settings, below the 'edit profile picture', you'll find a tab for 'edit avatar'. Put your profile picute in there and it'll show up next to your posts.
