when you look at it properly the squad is in a better position to move on next season than last, we have more quality players than we did befor but we also have a lot of crap to. Williams and jags need to go and be replaced need a replacement for baines to, midfield we need a proper left winger and a striker. shniderlin gone to

so look at

pickford
coleman
keane
Kenny
baines
davies
rooney
walcot
Mori
bolasie
Sigurdsson
Holgate
gueye
vlasic

is not a bad place to start with additions when compared to who was there at the end of last season

Complete overhaul of Dof, manager and board.
Agree and as I’ve said before we need
A CEO who has proven ability to get a big build done on time and on budget
A CEO of the standard of Dein or Gill to manage the football side of things
A commercial director to improve revenue streams and bring in new ones
A new DOF
A new manager
We need to sack the entire board and bring in a team of winners
Over to you Moshiri

Add Lookman possibly Henry and Tosun and 3 or 4 top quality players for the spine of the team ( plus LB) and we should be ok

Rip up everything and start again. We need a new manager, coaches, DOF, players, board room, stadium. We are in a terrible state.

*I googled the fees; rounded down for our sales and rounded up for our purchases. I’m sure some are unrealistic all the same. It’s all for the crack though lads, Lord knows this season has been a cinematic symbolic viewing of prolonged cataclysmic misery.

Well Coleman's had one (full) game back so far, and it was one of his best performances in an Everton shirt. Now granted a huge amount of adrenaline will have been involved, but certainly no reason to doubt he won't be fine.
Probably the biggest positive in a very dire season.

Since then we've had shambolic decision after shambolic decision

First of all he set his sights on Koeman, knowing that he wanted a DoF as well. What he should have done was to make these appointments in the opposite order - a DoF is the most important figure at a football club, he needs to be compatible with a manager and indeed he needs to be heavily involved in (if not ultimately responsible for) the appointment of a new manager. Instead we appointed two people entirely independently of each other and hoped for the best.
Isn’t this our entire transfer policy summed up in a sentence?

Modern football has become a gigantic beast that recruitment and coaching is best kept separate. It might be strange but I would "promote" fat Sam to the DoF role and try to find another manager (and potentially, a manager who should only focus on tactics and match day besides coordinating with everyone).
