got that brick one off amazon second hand for a few pence, after you said it was ok.
that notts county was a good day, recall that vicar we hijacked to show us were the ground was, and i let you and joey out to go into the ground , in there end while i parked up.
Stoke we had a few laughs up there and at home, that time we went up in the cars and vans into there pubs before the game was a good one, even the coppers were laughing at them, we went in and the were looking at us like there stares could kill, well they couldn't, they bottled it.
The back kick attack on bri mc.
the get back on the coach lad, yer ma is having pups by the arcles
titch mc one man , march up the road on there side as we were in an escort, giving them stick, they ended up throwing sods of grass at us at the station, wow really heavy put that in your book.
City book the guvners was a decent read years ago, pretty accurate that i can recall, although from are point of view thing could be seen a bit different. must get that and have read of it again.
Only problem with when you let us out firstly we went for a pee and ended up having one one the side of the police station with half the officers watching us and secondly we ended up in the handful of notts county fans that was there so yeah thanks for that

I remember being on me tod in stanley park & getting ran by what seemed like a coachload of forest fans (Porbly about a dozen or so) after I shouted ''Yer a bunch o' dirty 'kin scabs'' at them. That was scary...A tubby 14 y.o kid getting legged by a load of angry scab miners....I reckon they have collared me in another 50 yards if I hadn't screamed 'they're gonna kill me' when I got past the bandstand and the 15 or so Blues on Walton Lane & Anfield Road seen what was going on and ran into the park....which made the scabs turn tail....

We won 5-0 that day too....And I'm sure clough directed his 'v' sign directly at me....:D

Clough wasn't happy that day, I think they had a man sent off which he didn't agree with.

We arrived late for the away game that season, just 5 of us in a car and got legged around the ground. Last game of the season iirc.

nearly ended up bad that day for chuck and Jonah, they had been attacked coming out of a pub, which wasn't a good idea if you knew them, and one of the notts fans was a hemophiliac, were the blood doesn't clot , what possessed him to be a yob for god sake, chuck was covered on his blood like something out of a horror film not joking here by the way, and i was trying to get him to not go into the match and go to are the car and get a coat or something when the coppers pounced .
The Notts fella nearly died, thankfully he didnt ,and when the lads went to court , luckily the judge was ex army like are two so took there side, and slammed the notts fans as a disgrace as well known thugs, they were forest mostly by the way, not guilty away they went, could have ended so differently , what sort of [Poor language removed] puts his life on the line to fight at the footy .

At the ground, we were in Derby having a pint well you were i was driving, and we left it to late to make the kick off, thought Nottingham was a lot closer, got lost as you do , and noticed a fella with a black and white scarf on,(the Vicar, he really was one)at a bus stop, asked him the way to the ground and as he was telling us , you or joey , more than likely you :p ,decided to bundle him in the back to show us the way, which was all well and good if he had been going the match but he wasn't, i dropped him with you so don't blame me for anything after that.

I asked him politely to escort us to the ground I suppose when we got out and went for a pee he realised we were older than 14 and decided to do one

should have charged him to watch could have got your match money.
jaycee who else was in the car with us, me you joey a, was casso there or somebody else?

I didn't know the other lad it was Joey As mate, had the cardboard cut out of a babycham woman co he was going to a party and had to bring a bottle n a bird

Was there always one ground that was worse than all the others or was there 3 or 4 about the same?.i have seen a few grounds mentioned so was just wondering was there one particular ground that you would dread going to every year?

Maine Road was horrible as it was a rabbit warren of back streets with a gang of Cool Cats down every guinnel. Ayers one Park and Burnden Park were grim as was Hillsborough late seventies.

United away was naughty too. Coppers just stood there and let the mancs do their worst. Forced to queue to get in you were a sitting duck, the last thing you'd see as you dodged the bottles and fists was Lou fkin Macari's chippy!

Ha ha seems like yesterday....they liked their green flailed patch pockets, ox blood Docs and scarves round their wrists. Remember a few hairy nights there in the late seventies and early eighties. Blues always seemed to come out on top there if I remember rightly.
