Just tried to post in a Printer thread but got a message of "You are not authorised to post in threads that are older than 180 days," whats that new restriction all about ? vaulting is one of the best sports on GOT.
Yet another printer has bitten the dust, always when you've put new ink in the things as well, prints colour fine but no black text, seems from investigations that to fix it costs more than it's worth ffs.
A cheap printer the ink is expensive so it's a toss up whether to get a laser one, but then the toners cost a mint (or do they last ages ?), I'd go for a monochrome one but then it's nailed on that the kids will need colour for their homework, I tend to just print any pics I want (not many tbh) at Max Speillman these days so as to get ones that look half decent and don't drain the ink trying to get them right.
The 1 i have is an all in one job as well so that'll take some space up wherever it's stashed, I suppose that cos there's ink in it I can still use the scanner, crazy that you can't scan when they need ink ffs.
Anyone bought a decent one for a decent price lately ?
