Aye I agree, people who hold decision-making positions in government, and people who seek those positions, whether by means of election, coup d'état, appointment, electoral fraud, conquest, right of inheritance (see also: divine right) or other means, but my point still stands.
She disregarded what should've been a collective cabinet decision, hence had she done the right thing in the first place then maybe there wouldn't have been a witch hunt.

She cocked it up big time.
