just watched his goal again from the game... goosebumps watching that... he deserved to be the one who got that goal, so perfect!


(but not perfect for Everton... who likely won't be able to afford him now) :(
 

I actually used to be a Landon Donovan hater... no more! The man is Moses... he has single-handedly led us to the promised land. He is the heart and soul of American football.
 
Made up our LandyCakes scored the winner. Was so happy to see it. His pride and emotion of scoring that, and the way the team celebrated, it reminded me of Everton. Well In USA, all the best in the rest of the tourney, you could be the suprise package, but you must hope you don't meet the Dutch, Johnny H will only eat you
 
I haven had a chance to comment on the match because I've been dead for the past 8 hours. Leave it to the Everton Boys to create the game ending goal eh?

Everybody pretty much played well, Edu was invisible but for the most part that was it. That was our best game of the tourney so far.

Donovan did his best Dempsey impression.

Bradley has been one of the best players in the group stages.

Bornstein played well too.

Altidore did too.
