Jesus, that really stands out for being well researched in a sea of zero-research clickbaits. Thanks for sharing.

Unsworth Unsworth Unsworth.....the more you read about him the less of a shock the idea of him stepping in after Ronny would be.

“It is a big task, but it is one we relish,” Elstone said. “If you absolutely believe it’s all about money and that you get what you pay for, it probably looks even more daunting. But we feel that through the right manager, player trades, player development, you can buck that trend.”

Oh Dear. ........

I don't see a reason to moan about that quote. We're not Chelsea or City, we're not tossing down nine-digit net spends any time soon.

If Spurs are a fair comparison to what Everton want to do, is not their best player an academy product?

Every time Elstone says anything i just despair. He could make the best news in the world sound plucky and negative.

If Everton are to re-establish ourselves at one of the Big 5 as we once were, we need to have a positive, highly-competent driving force who portrays our new brand as CEO. Elstone fails in every aspect of a leader. He personifies small-time thinking, Kenwrightism

I obviously don't know RE not Farhad, but given Moshiri's (short) history at EFC, his actions are certain. He probably already knows what he wants to do in marketing and branding and I presume he'll have Elstone's replacement lined up before RE has wind his job is in trouble.
