Premiership Overhaul of Academies

The top young players are expensive now and when/if fair play comes to light they'll only have to pay out more. It reeks of greed. Most footballers live within 90 minutes of a decent sized club anyway. Its just a money grab by the top teams. As far as the excuse that bringing in talented footballers to play together will help the national team that's a joke. Going to a big club away from home really helped Jermaine Pennant didn't it? A "second tier" club like Middlesboro have nurtured some good young English talent, more than the likes of many "big clubs" in the prem now. Think of all the money that could have been saved if a Man City or Chelsea could have poached Johnson for nothing.
