Premier League to Block Streaming Sites

exactly, it's very annoying

but the pirates will always win, it just usually means you've got to do a bit more research to find what you want

and that's usually a good thing because it's how you learn stuff

internet is too big to police, my mate who lives in PRC has found a way round most of what they block there

I do find this annoying, though.

I watch a stream of all our games where possible, as so few are available on TV over here.

If you don't want me to watch it illegally, then give me a legal option. I'd happily pay a fee to watch Everton games, as going to the game is pretty much impossible for me when I'm at uni and so few of them are actually on Sky. Although admittedly giving money to Sky does make me feel queasy.
The Aussie solution that Reidy pointed out would be an ace like. There's no way that we can afford to go every game having a young family and living near Monmouth, Sky is only an option for a couple of games as it stands, but we'd happily pay for a stream. It's lost revenue.

If you recall, last year Sky tried to stop a Portsmouth landlady showing 3pm games in her pub, using a foreign satellite system. She took them to the European Court of Human Rights and won her case:

So I think they're changing track now and going after the internet streams instead.
