That article I saw had an astounding recentcy bias so let point out that no RS should be on this list. The only ones with a case are Suarez, Van Dijk, Salah and Gerrard and the first 3 haven't been around enough or won it and the last blew his chance at winning it and was honestly not great after about 2012. The amount of RS those "experts" picked was astounding. No media bias though.

I know that doesn't work formationally at the back but I'm not picking Ivanovic or whoever over those 3 CBs just to have a RB. There feels like a lot of players who were good first half like Rooney or second half like Kane. Very few David Silva types who have been good for 10 solid years.
