Premier league is....

One of the best things seen in the WC has been drafted into the Premier League for use from the start of this season.

At last, something really useful being implemented and should speed things up concerning free kicks and make things more straightforward. Football recently has been in danger of annoying many potential and existing fans by how slow it has got with diving and other stoppages.

This can only be good for Everton.

We are far more likely to score from a direct free kick than a corner so having the wall back the required distance is perfect.

Good move. Doesn't waste time and stops cheats (RS usually) from marching the ball forward metres

when a player dives and they are lying prostrate on the ground then the referee should use it to draw an outline around them like at a murder scene

just for sh!ts and giggles like ya know

If our set piece takers were already boss slotters when encroaching was prevalent, imagine the things they'll be able to do with the wall in its correct position.

Of course, it could make no difference but I'm hoping it means more free kicks end up going in.

The guy who invented it is a genius. Taken 15 years to get to market. He gave it for free to FIFA for world cup..

He can sit back now and let the dollars role in!

They have been using it for years in South America. I remember watching a game years ago on Setanta at the time being amazed by it.

I love it when the refs spray it on players' boots by accident and they go mad
