Ifs buts and maybes aside…..I 'effing love that tackle. I've seen it over a hundred times and it still gives me that fist in the air "have that you bas'tard" without it being a tackle that was malicious, two footed, nasty or down right out of order.

Neville had already sent Evra to the deck I believe and he was after Ronaldo like a dog to a rabbit. The ball was there to be taken, swan Ron was staggering to get it, and then BOOM! Neville got the ball, the player, United's concentration, and the crowd with one tackle. And what did he do after that? He walked off thinking it was a throw as the greasy Portugeezer roles around the pitch with a bullet wound in his stomach. I'm sure he told Ferdinand to **** off too when he came half way down the pitch to stick his beak in.

True I think Nev's been fantastic for us since then. Maybe he finally felt that he had the full backing of the fans and it's given him his confidence back. I'm pretty much saying the same as the article here though!
