Player Valuation: £60m
Whats the general concensus on this?
The FA are saying it will improve the standing of English football,I cant see that happening
my view is that the likes of chelsea and City will just buy any young talent and put them in there
with the aim being to keep them out f other teams

I think it's good.

There should also be a restriction on player movement imho.

For example any youngster at a club cannot sign for another team until they are 18 or something. Unless they are transfer listed or released obviously!

Not needed at all and just used by other countries to boost the numbers. If clubs feel players need to play lower league football to develop they'll send them on loan. I'd rather protect our heritage than ensure England get knocked out the second stage rather than the groups.

Would suit teams like us tbh, players get developed into the style of the first team whilst playing competitively. Would mean we buy more young talent and develop them (as we are already starting to do with the academy) which would be good for a team with our finances.

Logistically however it will never happen as the lower league clubs will just stomp their feet and whine that it will mean less loan players from the PL.

Helps premier league teams it would be detrimental to Lower league attendances though, I doubt Nottingham Forrest or Leeds fans would look forward to playing the Crystal Palace B team. I think in the long run it would be detrimental to English domestic football but beneficial to the English national team. Seeing as I don't care about the state of our national team I don't want it.

What a ridiculous statement. How dare they protect their very livelihood eh.
