Finners
they are at the moment, the best and most admired team in the world
but have they already peaked?

are they feeling little bit too comfortable, that is (feeling too comfortable) one of the most important reasons why teams start to regress. i think that happened to Chelsea too. Maybe to us too after great pre-season.

i wouldnt put my money to barcelona CL win

I hope so.

Tika Taka Kopites.

Given that they won everything they entered in 2008/9, its probably hard for them to go beyond that - though I would say that actually having a break this post-season will probably see them back at their best next season, at the moment they look dead on their feet.

However a good marker of how far they still are ahead of everyone else, it has taken Real Madrid three years, around half a billion euros spent on buying players (and of course a good chunk of that again on their wages) and the services of three managers - the last of which is arguably the best manager in the world - to actually beat them in a competitive match, and even that required a heroic goalkeeping performance, and a goal in extra time. Even then they are still eight points behind them in the league.

I think Madrid are favourites for the semi-final now. They've got their tails up and they've got a fresher set of players with more quality back up. Hope Barça smash them though

Quick question, why haven't the Sheiks or
Yanks bought them yet? I know that they have a complicated ownership by the way

I don't get this thread.

They've lost one match (in extra time of a game they dominated) and now it's a down trend is it?!

They are ace and have a ridiculous 50 goal a season player in their team.

Must be horrible to have their problems.

i quess it has something to do with the fact that they are Catalans.

And funny fact, what other team would pay from the logo in their shirt, if im right barcelona are paying unicef that they can have that logo in their jersey. i respect that.

Horrible, horrible Spanish sh*thouses.

The kopites of Iberia, right up their own arses. I used to like them until this current crop of players and this more than a club business.

Their payroll is full of cheating little mariquita playacting beauts.

I wish nothing but the worst upon them.

Apart from the bit in bold, this post says what I feel about Real Madrid

Hope Barca continue to dominate World Football, until Everton are ready to take over the reign.
Even if I had to wait until I'm 80 I'll take it..

It's the great british tradition to knock down anything successful. I for one would love Everton to have their problem.
