It's not a black and white thing, there's degrees of belief. I hold no animosity towards religion or religious people and think men and women should be left to their personal truths. I can also understand people's desire to believe there is something after this. I'm happy to accept there probably isn't but I can't know either way. If anything terrifies me, it's the reincarnation thing, that we're caught in an inescapable cyle of life. I like my life, but it would be meaningless without an end

That's an interesting viewpoint. I agree with most of it- respecting other's beliefs/non-beliefs but I'm your polar opposite at the end. The thing that terrifies me is that this is it.
I like the ideas expressed above that we are all one with the Universe.
