It's why I asked that question the other day - "is religion good or bad?" - basically because some people take great comfort from it.

It's utter horse sh"" of course and she's wasting her time, but people do believe there's someone listening...

Exactly; my nan takes great comfort from it and I would never even try to take that away from her (she doesn't frequent GOT, thankfully).

The horse poo bit is just my opinion, i.e. there is no god. You're welcome to your own opinion and I won't try and tempt you otherwise.
