Power of persuasion

Have you ever persuaded anyone to follow Everton or told them what Everton are about and what makes them unique? "Once Everton touches you, nothing will be the same" is a quote we can all relate to and agree with but what if your other half knows nothing about football and you want them to feel the passion that drives us all on? What do you do? Surely it would make life easier if our partners understood who we are and how special it is being an Evertonian.

My partner doesn't enjoy football and I have tried to 'sway' her, sort of but so far not good. What would you suggest? What did you do? Bayern semi? Derby victories? Videos of fans singing? Take her to GP for a cup quarter final? I think she needs to experience an Everton win from trailing 1-0.

Do you REALLY want this? Think about it carefully.

Yeah Spanish lad I used to work with he's been to a few games and was over for West Ham at the weekend. He's a Real Madrid fan but has a lucky Everton top he bought a couple of years ago and wears to their games. Worn it to 2 CL finals, Super cup and it's going to Japan with him in December. Lucky barsteward.

I couldn't have picked a worse season for wanting to take my lad to the match for the first time, with tickets at a premium and pretty poor seats being on offer. The last thing I need to do is stick a six year old who's more interested in his ipad in an obstructed view on a cold afternoon. It's been bugging me all season.

Best thing to do is use stubhub, season ticket holders sell their seats. Some cracking views on there, you might not specifically get an adult and a child, maybe two adults but will still get two together.

I was hoping to get tickets for Swansea, there are no non-obstructed views left before they go on general sale. Season tickets were up because of nothing will be the same , so getting tickets now is horrendous.

Newish gf agreed to go to Mark Hughes debut, Cov City away midweek game. Freezing cold, we were poor, can't remember the score but she loved it. Knew she's the one right then.
