A Classic. Do they have these in other countries?

I mean obviously other countries have waffles, but like these?

I have yet to come across them and the wife hadn't heard of such a creation.

On a side note, do waffle fries exist now in the old country? Love me a waffle cut chip.

They've not been forgotten I mentioned them on the dinner thread the other night. I had them for my tea tonight alongside some chicken by sure they make you feel a greasy fat ba**ard.

I just had some earlier 3 times in toaster and seasoned with salt n pepper then grated cheese and under the grill for a minute..jobs a good 'un

I haven't had these for about 15 years, I had them a fair bit as a kid. I think I even had them deep fried!!! Went super crispy. Good with most things, but full english is spot on

They hold an egg so well though, whether fried or poached, and sometimes you don't want egg on toast.

Egg and chips though, now there's an old classic.

Not in Canada, we can get frozen hashbrowns like what you get in a Maccie's breakfast and the potato smileys but no waffles.

I feel like about 20% of the meals I ate as a kid featured these.
