Surely the most pointless and ruinous thing affecting kids growing up today. Kids stabbing one another based purely on where they happen to live, has society really become this sick and pointless ?

In the 90s we used to fight with different ares only because we all didn't know each other then as you get to 14/15 you've all played footy against each other or together and it wasn't an issue anymore.
I guess it's the ones who couldn't play footy who go looking for it. Same ones who run the second they get squared up too unless they've got their gang of divvy mates with them.
Oh and hand-bags or man-bags whatever they call them ? What are they all about? If I set foot out of my front door with one of them round my body when I was a kid I'd have been sparked out before I got to the front gate. By me Dad.

I think a bigger problem is allowing kids to be disenfranchised to this point. I have friends who were previously involved with gangs in Bristol who got out, and they pretty much all said that virtually every generation it just gets more bitter and more violent
