Naiskill

Player Valuation: £750k
Positives
1. John Stones and Jagielka played well
2. Joel was comfortable despite the constant, predictable longball tactics.
3. Despite [Poor language removed] up several times, Rom scored so he's forgiven
4. Besic had a good game per usual
5. CLEAN SHEET
6. We actually ground out a win under Martinez
7. Giving that [Poor language removed] Alan Pardew his first loss as manager of Crystal palace

Negatives
1. Alan Pardew will still be a premier league manager next season
2. Our performance wasn't the greatest

I thought we played pretty well today, particularly in defence. Jags seems back to his best and he and Stones looked like a very strong partnership. Besic impresses me more with each performance and Barry was solid again. They had 20 minutes after we scored when they looked dangerous, but after that I thought we controlled the game. Could have won by more in the end. Another good away after another improved performance at West Ham. Before that the last away I'd been to was Southampton - chalk and cheese to today and West Ham. At least you can see us battling now.

Would of loved us to create more chances but its 3 points, anyone would of took that before the game.

2 clean sheets on the bounce now, let's make it three now Everton..

Three points
No injuries
clean sheet
Lukaku in the goal hunt again
we did it without McCarthy
our win + other results has us looking above to take down Newcastle and Swansea not looking down to stay ahead of the eight below
Snipers silenced for now

It's actually nice to see people recognising some of the positives. Was reading the match thread earlier and there were calls for double and triple substitutions BEFORE half-time. Ridiculous. Jags (I don't care about nicknames.. Do one) and Stones were pretty solid tbh. Not the prettiest of wins but an important away one. 3 points, clean sheet. I'm happy with that.
