Simple, short and straightforward post......despite the drop in general performance and results Roberto Martinez is still the right man for the job. A breath of fresh air in a Club that had gone stale, and reeked of struggle in every corridor. It's a long project, not a quick fix.

As you were chaps, as you were.

Gone stale i agree with, but reeked of struggle?? Please explain further what you mean.

Couldn't compete in the transfer market, endless collapsed buy-outs and ground moves, poor marketing, player unrest (allegedly), ...........not Moyes fault but definitely needed a change

Stale, yes. Don't see where you get the struggle bit from, we were arguably playing our best football under Moyes in his last year and we finished 6th.

Don't get me wrong I prefer Martinez over Moyes but we were hardly struggling under him just not really moving forward.

So we still reek of Struggle then, because last time i checked the manager looks after the matters on the pitch.

Agreed, but surely every pair of blue eyes can see the Club in general is, and is seen by others to be, in a lot healthier place now? Moyes biggest failing for me, other than away day negativity, was his ignorance and shortness with the media....like them or not they control and fund football

I think Moyes just lost interest after 2009 in the job, i hope Martinez does not go down the same road of having to sell to buy or sell to survive.

Where did you get that figure.
Moysie was loved until he told us he was going to united.
In his last season we played some brilliant football and the whole club showed desire, spirit, hunger and togetherness.
Look at us now we are lost and weak,i think you are on a wind up

For real?

Jump back in the vaults and relive the apathy towards Moyes from the semi-final with the [Poor language removed] and onwards. Did you not watch the Wigan game, and virtually every away game we played? Sure, we loved him, but his final two seasons were on the whole like dentistry without anaesthetic.
Honestly not a wind up.....just dismayed at the amount of negativity towards RM at the minute.
