Port Vale Youth Cup game in balance

PORT Vale's FA Youth Cup clash at home to Everton on Saturday is subject to a pitch inspection.

With heavy snow expected overnight, officials are planning to look at the state of the Vale Park surface at 8am.

The fourth-round clash, which has already been rearranged twice, is scheduled to kick off at 2pm

If it's postponed for the 3rd time, which i think it will be, then there should be rules in place to forfeit the home advantage and offer the away team a chance to host.

Appreciate that Port Vale have some minor financial benefit from this, but i'm sure Everton just want the tie out of the way and done with and have the means to do so..
