Port Vale Owner didn't hire Hasselbaink as worried of his own fans being racist

See the logic is there behind it but then at the same time, the fact it is even considered tells you how wrong it all is.

Surely if he thought the fans would abuse him then there is a bigger issue going on at Port Vale than that?

ALso when did hasslebank join QPR? Missed that lol

I caught a small part of an interview by the port vale owner and he came across as a right bell,if I was a vale fan I would be appalled by those comments

Considering he's trying to sell the club as well, what a stupid thing to do

Again, I'm expecting a response from the Vale Supporters on this. I'm sure our fan groups would be up in arms if Kenwright or Elstone said something similar

Whether it's "I don't like black people" or "My clubs fans might not like a black manager", he's not employed JFH because of his skin colour.
Racial discrimination, whether he has those beliefs of not. What a silly sausage.

Seems a bit daft that like especially making it public but recon Jimmy would Prob rather be at QPR anyway so it seems to have worked out ok for him.

What an absolute weapon, even if he thinks it you sure as hell don't say it!

This is the point or certainly a point.

It takes a certain kind of idiocy to fail to recognise the taboo issues in a society.

As Tyson Fury has found any sort of flippancy towards or blaspheming of modern British taboos on sex race or sexuality will cause a shytstorm with thousands rushing to social media to indulge an orgy of virtue signalling.

The reality is that many chairmen don't won't a black manager for a variety of reasons among them that many fans - who are largely white British working class - would ideally prefer a white manager. It may be silly but there it is.

However public expression of this by a public figure is simply stupid. Free speech becomes idiocy when it ignores taboo.

Yepp.

However, Stoke-on-Trent did infact vote the BNP in a couple of years ago, so I can kind of understand his comment, but tarring all fans the same?

Wasn't their main striker for like 4 years a black lad?

Idiot.
