It is what it is, although it's almost certainly a better metric than Facebook. Still, it doesn't replace buttcheeks and eyeballs.

It's good in the way all the bellends in the world seem to be on Twitter(not saying everyone on Twitter is a bellend). They have the top UK following on Twitter so chances are they have the highest quotient of bellends in their fanbase.

Disagree. Fake accounts on Twitter are a much larger problem than fake accounts on Facebook.

Fair point, but following is probably a truer picture of active support than a Facebook like. Much harder to ignore twitter content than Facebook content unless you unfollow/block.
