Inspired by Moutsgoat. We all know we want Mourinho. People started to believe Koeman was coming. Polls were questioned.

Pellegrini may want us. It's not hard to imagine Goodison a fortress under him, it's not hard to envisage him developing a system and making 3/4 important signings. It's not hard to envisage top 5 in the first season, or even top 4..

Here's an interesting video, it is worth a watch.

It's also not hard to imagine him in front of just one man and the goodison cat at the end of season lap of 'honour'.

He fits the bill in terms of his profile and the fact he smokes 60 tabs a day, but looking at how City play and some of his signings I'm just not having him as the 'right' man for us.

OK, i'm up to scratch with Pelligrini now, had a look at his career stats and stuff.

3 trophies in 3 seasons with Man City, 1 x PL and 2 x Carling cup, not really that impressive with what he had available to him. Also knocked out of FA cup by a lower league team worries me about his motivational skills.

His best spell was with Villareal, but he left them in 2009, quite a lengthy time has passed.

His 1 season with Real Madrid ended up with them trophy less, despite having Kaka, Benzema and Ronaldo to call upon.

Seems to do better with lesser sides, Malaga and Villareal, where expectations are not as high so you could make that as a case for him being our next manager, as you could Koeman for what he has done at Saints.

It's a swerve from me, if we are not getting Mourinho I would rather have a younger manager in such as FDB or maybe even Favre, who have things to prove outside of the leagues they have excelled in.

Absolutely not! He was lucky to win the league the year utd blew it and he was lucky to win it when our lovable neighbours blew it. The amount of money he's spent they should have won more trophies. Hasn't any motivational skills whatsoever

He's their Martinez, just without the gobbledigook and not quite as bad. Looking from the outside you think he's under-achieved a bit, but is basically good -as people do with Martinez and us. But speak to any Citeh fan seeing them week in week out and they despise him. Performances are hit and miss plus he's a total conservative with no faith in young players.

£50 million for Sterling. £42 million for Mangala. Has teh leaugues best forward and has spent a fortune but can not finish top 4. He may be a big name but its a "No, gracias cabron" from me
