Poll, do you carry cash?

Just seen a poll on an Irish news site asking the same thing? Are the days of cash numbered with cards and phone payments becoming more, and more common and is this a good thing?

I’m regularly caught out having no cash on me in places that don’t take card (hairdressers etc). Think there’s just a general assumption now everyone can take card payments.

Just as a precaution incase a card machine doesn't work or the card goes missing, or something along those lines
