Any chance you can add an option that includes Led Zeppelin, how could they not be there Ffs.

You may not be entirely be happy about this but Led Zep goes in the 'The Beatles/Elvis Presley/Lame music from the 60s/Classic like the Rolling Stones' category so vote away and make your voice known!

Whither Radiohead?

Radiohead would go in the 'Arctic Monkeys/Travis/The Kooks/Kasabian/Franz Ferdinand/Sterephonics type British Indie Rock Music' category together with 'I like all types of music' perhaps and you have already explained your choice in the thread ! ;)

Led Zeppelin were bettter than both of those, I'm afraid I'm going to back away from the thread.

I recently learned 'emo' meant 'emotional' music and I am very much against Avril Lavigne/Blink 182 type of cry-baby/whiny songs. I appreciate I put Green Day in there and 'Rock' in that category but I only had a limited amount of options. It is up to the voters to choose wisely. In fairness, I allowed multiple voting which means people can provide their choices wisely.

Manchester, Beatles/Elvis/60s and rap/hip hop.

My music taste is very broad, but I couldn't vote that I like everything because that would include heavy metal which is just about the only thing I won't listen to.

Go ed then @mixed_up...who did you vote for or are you a woman?

I like the top 5 genres, mostly guitar-based, bands like Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian, Puddle of Mudd, Incubus, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Deftones, and harder stuff like Soulfly. Beatles/Rolling Stones/Led Zep were before my time so I pass on that but won't rule them out. I also like Jimi Hendrix who might go in the 'classic' category. I don't mind #some# Oasis or even pleasant music like Travis. I must confess I haven't heard many Radiohead songs apart from their singles (shame on me). I also like some rap/hip-hop as long as it's not too childish or racy, and I have been getting into computer-type-dance-music without vocals. I think you absolutely can't go wrong with the Prodigy! I think the Prodigy might be the best! Can't stand lovey-dovey r'n'b music/pop though I like some classic songs from the 50s or 60s or 70s. I also voted for the 'I like all types of music' as I'm sure we all do as we get older. I haven't even heard The Smiths yet but have recently bought a CD of theirs to see what the fuss was about.

Basically I'm out of touch!

Where does Elliott Smith fit in?

Please change the Arctic Monkeys/Blah/Blah/Blah to Radiohead/Doves/Etc.

Doves/Radiohead fits in with the category British Indie ! - it would be impossible to list all bands/genres but I covered a fair few bases.

Elliott Smith? Is he an U-21 player? Sorry, I can't change the categories now! Or I would add 'manly feminine pop/rock' for Elliott Smith.
