Finishing last season with 71 points would have secured us third place in the league. I reckon much less will do the same this term but there is no fun in that. So some teams remeaining fixtures run like the following and my total towards 71 are adjoined.

We went to the champions and were undone by a penalty a tenth of the foul they got for their opener today. Arsenal are not half what they were.

United have a bang in form Van Persie, Spurs are good at home, similiarly Chelsea, and we always sh*t it at theirs.

On our day, we could draw or win all 5. What are the chances of us being on our day for all 5?

That is 29. On 37 = 66. Could be a 4th place spot but I doubt it.

Also lads, this is all pointless really. What matters is that we're 5th and 3 points behind 4th place. All this other stuff about points totals doesn't matter because you never really know how many you'll need.
