1.) 4-4-2! Amazing it's taken us so long to play a proper 4-4-2, with Beckford getting the support he's been craving since signing. Saha and him connected like BBIMV and a Taiwanese rentboy, and they couldn't cope. More please. EVEN if Timmy Cahill must be sacrificed.

2.) Coleman. I said this the other week, but maybe we don't need to sign a right winger after all? Coleman's been getting more and more assured, and he tore them a new one today. Deserved goal too. You beauty.

3.) Distin. He's so hunky.

4.) All of this is rendered rather useless if we go and piss away points to crap teams. Dear David, please remember what being positive can do; we played media bumboys Spurs off the park all game. VDV who? SEAMUS MOFO COLEMAN, IS WHO.

5.) The final point: 3 points. Yummy.

He played players where they prefer with support and to their strengths...its not hard when you think about it, its just putting it in motion.

Another point: Baines and Pienaar were a lot less involved in our goals and general play, than they normally are. In other words, we do have more options than those two. So, use them more often!

Well its been noted the amount of space Coleman does have in games down the right but we never exploit it....

Tonight Coleman ripped Ekotto a new arse and we kept pumping balls into the gaping hole to a point where he pretty much put about 5 on a plate and should've had 2 goals himself.

Take nothing away from Pienaar though...he was great tonight. Workrate and was drifting everywhere.

Definitely mate. On plenty of occasions I've seen Coleman up in arms as he's been ignored for the left wing, despite being in space.

Today he was amazing, and Beckford, Saha, Arteta, Nev... everyone, managed to spot him and play him in; utilising his pace. He did to them today what Sky Sports News wanted Bale to do to us.

Bang on.

He's overrated anyway Bale....

I am starting to see the light re: Coleman at winger, he could be "boss" in short order. He still has some learning to do, but man, he's taken to that winger role and made it his own. I put in the game thread that I'm wondering if we should really focus on left mid now - where we most likely will have a hole once Pienaar leaves (since I see no signs of contract yet). The thing I'm thinking is grabbing a player on loan that could play either side - thus supporting Coleman if he goes RB in case of Neville injury, and giving Moyes an outlet of playing (ideally) TWO pacey wingers.

I mean think of it - what if we had a pacey left winger AND Coleman on the left and right? Plus Baines and Neville backing up with Distin in the center? Good lord, our speed would be SO MUCH FUN TO WATCH.

I think it could be a good balance having a skillful player like Pienaar on the left and a pacey bomber down the right. I think the right back role needs to be looked at again now that Coleman seems to be cementing his place as a right winger. He's probably got even more potential if we had a right back with pace. That might be a bit harsh on Neville though, who I thought was excellent last night - it's like he's tried to add more to his game in order to maximise the potential Coleman has.
