6 + 2 Point Deductions

So they're arbitrarily deciding when and who to give reduced punishments to?
If they judge a club is 'exceptionally cooperative' like they supposedly have with Forest, then the fact they breached the rules doesn't matter as much any more and the '6 point minimum' is no longer a minimum?

Are these people 'kin high???
You can theoretically overspend by gazillions but as long as you send the commission a basket of muffins you'll be fine 👍

We got points back in the appeal due to them saying we weren't trying to pull a fast one.
They had to legally say that, and the club celebrated that outcome.
We didn't struggle to get our financial accounts signed off for being clean.
A dodgy accountant doing dodgy accountant things

We were always the ideal candidate for the Premier League to use to 'show that they mean business'. A (historically) 'big club' who currently doesn't contribute to the gravy train. They could point at their sanction of us and say 'look, it doesn't matter who they are, we will take action and that means we should be left to regulate ourselves'. Relegating Forest (or Burnley or Brentford) wouldn't have the same effect for them.

They’ve been fixing football int his country for their own profit for years. They think they’re untouchable, so do their associated media, and PGMOL. It’s all a corrupt cesspit that needs a flamethrower taken to it.

I hope they botch the whole sport so much that eventually everyone stops watching it and they can write books on how the PL destroyed the goose that laid the golden egg: fair competition between teams on a level playing field. They’ve instead somehow managed to preside over the most corrupt league in the world.

I'm assuming we've 'complied' rather than delaying on the second breach. So that should be a 2pts reduction in penalty from the outset. Add in double-jeopardy and we've got to be looking at a lower sanction than Forest.

We said we were innocent after getting charged in March of last year.

Hearing was set for November and in October we admitted a breach in the pre hearing.

We delayed the decision so we wouldn't get any points deducted in the 22/23 season. Worked in our favour that decision.

We got charged along with Forest in mid January and the whole process will still not be concluded by the last game of the season.

There’s not a chance they would have been able to conclude the case before the end of last season when we weren’t charged until the final week of March.

We'd do the same. I don't blame Forest for trying, but this judgement is terrible, they should have got 8 points not 4.

It should be irrelevant what happened to us if they reviewed it "case by case" as they said in the conclusion of our hearing.

The fact that part of Forest's arguement is the fact that if the league had punished us sooner, and we hadn't "delayed" the hearing, they wouldn't have had to spend more than they should.... shouldn't have been an excuse.
