6 + 2 Point Deductions

The dunder mifflin scranton branch party planning Committee has more credibility than that lot mate

Yep. We don't matter. We had our day in the sun after the initial deduction.
Which version of the PPC do you refer to? Saying that, even this version has more credibility.

No doubt in my mind that the level of referee match fixing has increased hugely since Masters came in. He’s a paid for chump by the ‘big clubs’ (to use his own terminology for how he sees teams in the league)
Did you hear Jagielka on Talksport talking about Derby in the EFL, he says something along these lines...

Masters is a dead man walking regardless. Multiple clubs have expressed a vote of no confidence in him. The whole league season has been brought into disrepute by this, there’s no coming back from it. He can’t save his job whatever the outcome of this appeal is.

It would take a significant shift for the majority of clubs to line up behind a vote of no confidence. Yes clubs have issues with him but the greatest % have said little to nothing re his tenure

One thing that suprised me is that the final port of call in the PL process is Arbitration. Either party has just 2 days from receiving the outcome of the appeal to request arbitration . It will be heard by one arbitrator and has to be dealt with in a matter of days.

The media should be asking all the people who went to the trouble of applying for the job, went through several interveiws until being shortlisted. Then had more interveiws before being offered the job. They should be asking why, after going through all that effort and trouble did they then turn the job down? It doesn't make sense. Unless of course they were being asked to do something which moraly and ethically they were unwilling to do. It seems Masters had no such qualms. As for being a paid chump for the big clubs? Only two clubs were allowed to have an input into hiring process. The rags and your lovely red neighbours.

The problem we have is there are absolutely no rules, timelines or deadlines dictating how long this commission can take. There's not even anything really compelling them to work on it, they could be up to anything, there is nothing to stop them completely taking the piss. They could be planning to START deliberating in a week or two. And if either us or (to be fair) the PL ask them to get a wriggle on that would be considered improper interference in the process.

It's crazy that in an industry worth billions, with half the league and millions of supporters having some sort of stake in this outcome, three people have unlimited discretion not just in what verdict they reach but in how and how long they take to reach it. And as supporters we don't even know who they are.

How is anyone supposed to trust this process when there are so few rules governing it and we don't even know who is running it?

its why a regulator is on its way. They cant be trusted to look after the industry themselves.
