If the PL insist on dealing with these things in-season, then surely there should just be an annual limit as opposed to a rolling 3 year one. Any club that has gone bananas in year 2 and/or 3 could face sanctions 2/3 seasons in a row. Absolute circus.

So hang on, if we get another deduction then appeal we won't know the answer until 5 days after the league finishes? So we could have a situation where nobody knows if they're down on the final day or not? No chance the league will allow that. They'll want their final day drama for the telly.

That or they will fix the points deduction to make for the best possible final day of the season to intensify the drama.

They will need to spped the first one up before any appeal for this one can take place.

I can't see any possible justification for the double jeopardy we're facing inside one season.
