You're right, but Capello is only there till the Euros finish so he will feel it's his job to gel a side for the EC. The WC will be someone else's responsibility. I personally feel the 5 you mentioned are well past their best already but the England manager obviously doesn't

Baines will be 29 by the time Brazil 2014 comes around, ditching him is massively over the top.
