Idea requests from @Adam-GOTTV - if anyone can help please do.

Actually, while I'm here, I've been thinking about starting a series looking back at famous Everton matches and speaking with someone who was there for each. These will go out over the summer. If you witnessed the big games of the past and want come on and chat about your experience of the day please let me know.

Ones that spring to my mind is 2005 v Man U. Great night that.

The Graham Poll 2000 Derby I was right on the goal line, we well won that game.

The Lee Carsley Derby was brill for the atmosphere.

Gary Speeds debut, 2-0 win over Newcastle which totally overshadowed Alan Shearer’s debut.

Home game v Villarreal was at least nice to see us in CL.

Why not pick a thread, any thread, & run through it. Highlight significant posts, see if the posters would say a few words about their musings perhaps? We have in here one of the best threads I've ever seen in a forum & that would be worth a few episodes I reckon.

Just a thought.

Not sure if it has been done before but what about inviting fans to take part in an Everton Quiz.

Watford FA cup final, great weekend.
Man U FA cup final, unfortunately Whiteside scored and we lost.
Main road loss to the RS, Souness scored with his left foot.

I seem to remember the disappointments more than the wins, not sure what that says except the scars run deep.

..it’s a bit weird because I didn’t mind that League Cup Final replay defeat. It demonstrated to me that the tide had turned, we were much the better team and Souness gave what I still think is one of the greatest individual performances I have ever seen. I came out of that ground with the rain lashing down feeling quite smug.

The thing that struck me about that game compered to the two semis there, was we got a different end /half and it was solid with blues and a mass of colour
I remember the semis there was rs in the seats and standing
Also remember a manc spiv being chased for his tickets

The Gosling derby cup game at Goodison, that was as near to the roof coming off the old place as I have witnessed, I was right behind lard arse shandy Andy when his cross was whipped in.
For years my screensaver was Carragher picking the ball out of the net in this game.if it wasn't him it was his spitting image......,

I was right in line with that shot behind the goal, yeah over the two games we were quite unlucky to lose to what was taking my royal blue specs for a mo,was the best side in Europe at the time, thankfully we made it back to Wembley,if we hadn't,who knows if things may have disintegrated?
