Well, due to circumstances being what they are I have somehow become a blue. It started of just watching premiere league as began being televised in the states. At first I was just excited to be watching following the drama of the league it’s self.

In short I began to really fall for Everton. (Lately been asking myself why ffs it’s infuriating)
I have not missed a televised game in nearly 6 years and I am constantly checking this forum from work and home being pestered by my lady friend that I may have a problem.

I’m coming over this December to see my first game at Goodison on the 21st of December. I’m also going to catch an away game in Manchester on the 1st of January.

I will be bouncing around to quite a few countries and cities while I’m over there for about 16 days.

Liverpool
London
Prague
Paris
Caen
Manchester

This is basically the plan to bounce around for 3 experiences. Everton, Christmas in Prague & Paris/Normandy.

The help I’m looking for is travel.

If anyone has any advice with trains, ferries, and flights that may help us out.

We would like to avoid back tracking and really long travel days.

I don’t like to really plan things out in detail to be held hostage to an itinerary. I’d rather go with the flow but I won’t compromise missing the two Everton games at all.

Any info, tips or things to be aware of would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for the time.

Shouldn't think you'll be needing any ferries there mate.

Liverpool to London is with Virgin Trains, probably around 30-40 quid.

London to Prague you'll get with one of the cheap airlines such as EasyJet or RyanAir, between 50-100 quid.

Prague to Paris will be 2 hours via a relatively cheap flight (50-100) or a long train journey with possibly one changeover, probably more expensive than the flight.

Paris to Caen 2 hours on the Intercites train, no idea of price but very cheap I'd imagine.

Caen to Manchester would be either back to Paris then Eurostar to London (50-ish I think) then Virgin Train again, or fly Paris to Manchester. Hope this helps!

...I’m sure you’ll enjoy the trip and hopefully the Blues put in a couple of performances for you. I think the trains tend to be a bit cheaper if you book in advance, but others will know more than me.

Enjoy getting stabbed on your trip to London fam, I'd head there first so that a hospital stay means you miss the Everton games.

have fun bro, if you're looking for a good bar in Liverpool City Centre, don't pass up the Lisbon, it's a favorite of GOT members

Bring a stab proof vest for London, other than that I hope you enjoy.

Liverpool is nice, we've got more listed buildings than any City outside of London, Bluecoats on school lane is 300 years old, give or take.
People are friendly, you'll love it.

I would travel by train from Liverpool > Manchester > London > Paris
Bring a warm coat/jacket, its very cold in December and January. I don't mean like Russia cold, but very cold.

Hope you enjoy the trip, it sounds good....

Flights around Christmas time shoot up in price, so the sooner you get that sorted the better....ryanair have their Cyber sales on now..

In the uk, unless you have, to don't travel (very far or past 4pm) on christmas eve, christmas day, boxing day, new years eve, or new years day.

Paris to Caen you can easily get train every couple of hours per day ;-) Will cost you maybe 35 euros return too as great prices on train travel here ;-) sncf is website etc! You can get local bus then to sites or tours around different sites in Normandy ;-) If you drive I'd suggest you hire a car and do your own tour as its incredible to visit and you won't want to be stuck on a fixed timetable and its great dropping into different villages and to see locals reaction to you being there ;-)

Paris is great city to visit ;-) Busy as hell so lots of waiting to see big sites etc so depends on what you want to see and do?
If you want any advice or ideas of what you want to see/do message me and I can share advice or sites to you about here?
