Player Valuation: £100m
Lets say we could sign either Butland or Yarmolenko for £15-20mil (or another similar keeper/playmaker)

Who would you go for?

....I think we'll have sufficient funds to bring more than one player in. I will say a goalkeeper purchase is more of a priority than it was but I think it's a bit drastic to say it will be at the expense of any other position.
But that's not the question
In the Summer everyone agreed a playmaker was more important, no in hindsight a lot of Bobby's critics are saying this shouldn't have been the case.
What is our maximum priority now?
(You can only have one maximum priority)

Yep. Basically who would our "big money" signing be as a priority....

For me it's Butland all the way...or a similar type keeper who would fit in well with the team. Yarmolenko would be amazing but we really need a top keeper we can rely on for a decade without worrying about that position.

A new keeper should be Evertons priority .Need to be solid at the back fierst and foremost but thats impossible when you've a keeper who lets goals in for fun..

I honestly think if we had a really solid keeper we'd have finished much higher last season, and the same will probably be true this season. I'd take a first-rate keeper that will be with the club for a long time over a playmaker all day.

I don't think you can overstate what a big difference it makes to have a keeper on top of his game behind the back 4, especially given our reliance on young, inexperienced defenders of late.

This all day long

A top goalie is the priority... there are ten guys in front of him to make the play.
We're unlikely to unearth another Big Nev, but the scouting staff should/must be working on finding a replacement for Tim Howard NOW !!!

Straight down the middle -Shankly 101 (sorry)

Start from the back - new decent keeper -tick
Centrebacks: 2 from; Browning, Stones, Jags ( for now ) Funes Mori, Galloway.
Playmaker...after the Keeper
Centre forward Lukaku + 1 or even 2
