Welcome to Barcelonaton FC
What is our strength at the moment? Im finding it hard to think of one.

Going on from Toccyblue mentioning that Moyes' doesnt really know his side or players best positions, here's the squad list. Put in where you think their best position, how they add to the team, and what choice.

Goal Keepers -
GK Carlo Nash
GK Iain Turner
GK Tim Howard - 1st choice keeper, got no competition really.

Defenders -
DF Tony Hibbert - 1st choice right back...no one has ever challenged him apart from Pip Neville. Liability against better wingers.
DF Leighton Baines - 1st choice left back. No competition for place, makes football love with Pienaar
DF Joseph Yobo - Hit and miss defender for me. Can be rock solid but lacks concentration and panics.
DF John Heitinga - Dutch international, Moyes doesnt know what to do with him. Wont play him as a DM to get used to it, looks comfy at RB, looks better suited at centre half. International player getting used as a utlitly bench warmer.
DF Phil Jagielka (injured) - 1st choice centre half, best at the club.
DF Sylvain Distin - 1st choice centre half. Lescott who?
DF Lucas Neill - Hasnt played yet. Dirty RB. Captain of Oz. Not getting a sniff.
DF Séamus Coleman - Impressive youngster who is speedy to fook. Never gonna get a game.

Midfielders -
MF Steven Pienaar - 1st choice winger. Can play across the midfield, never used for that. 2nd to Arteta for creativity.
MF Diniyar Bilyaletdinov - 1st choice winger for me. Moyes doesnt know where to play him, especially over Osman. Russian international. Playing 2nd fiddle to Osman but can play across the midfield.
MF Mikel Arteta (injured) - Heartbeat of the team. Dont have to say more.
MF Phil Neville (captain) (injured) - Captain, only tough tackling defensive midfielder we have really.
MF Dan Gosling - Nippy youngster but not pacy, has a nack for finding space in the box from the wing, rarely used.
MF Leon Osman - Current captain. Comfy and quick footed central midfielder...absolute tosh on the wing.
MF Marouane Fellaini - Attacking midfielder fighting with Tim Cahill. A handful and skilful player who is a threat to the goal.
MF Jack Rodwell - Future starlet that lacks that extra bite.
MF Tim Cahill - 1st choice attacking midfielder. Off the boil recently.

Forwards -
FW (on loan from Manchester City) - Skillful and useful player who doesnt score much. Only has one foot.
FW Louis Saha - 1st choice striker. Can be world class, is on fire.
FW Yakubu Aiyegbeni - 1st choice striker. Coming back to fitness. One of the best strike rates in the prem.
FW Victor Anichebe (injured) - When playing to his potential can be an absolute handful, not scared to run at players. Falls over too much, bit of an attitude.
FW Kieran Agard - Pacy youngster.
FW Jose Baxter - Pot head. Not ready but has potential.

I still cant think of 1 strength apart from a good looking attack and defence.

Options, thats what its all about, options all over the pitch. We have injurys here and there, im sure Moyes knows what team he would like to pick, but its not often he has the luxury of picking it or even keeping a team from 1 week to the next.

Howard and Baines are the only players that dont have anybody breathing down their neck, when everybody is fit, everybody else is gonna have to play for the shirt.

Tim Howard: first choice keeper, one of the best in the League.

Lucas Neill: Solid player really, decent at defending and attacking. Not outstanding but I think he's the best we have.

Phil Jagielka: One of the best centre backs around, he's the main man.

Sylvain Distin:
Another quality centre back, an all rounder really. His reliability and the fact that he is left footed gives him the nod over Yobo.

Leighton Baines: One of the best attacking fullbacks around, not the best defender in the world but his strengths by far outweigh his weaknesses. His partnership with Pienaar is key really.

Diniyar Bilyaletdinov: Still don't know alot about him but a far better option than Leon Osman outwide. Looks a good footballer, a great crosser of the ball and an intelligent passer. Not the quickest, not someone I expect to develop into touch line hugging winger.

Phil Neville:
Probably just edges out Jack Rodwell. A solid player really, never hides, uses the ball well and puts his foot in.

Mikel Arteta: The dictator, the man who pulls the strings. Intelligent positioning, underrated defensively and a fine footballer. He's just a cool cat, the one player you can rely on to keep the ball under pressure.

Steven Pienaar: Our creative force, the man we rely on too open things up and create chances. Speeds things up, has a great footballing brain and covers more ground than anyone else. A dream of a player really, doesn't get the credit he deserves and is as important as Arteta.

Tim Cahill: The best player in his position at the moment, long term a player of his style is not the answer but his energy, aerial ability and tenacity is a big part of our game.

Louis Saha/Aiyegbeni Yakubu:
I can't decide, I think there both top draw. Both would score 20 goals plus with the right players behind them. Technical ability, strength, intelligence and leathal finishing ability. They are 'complete' strikers.

Our forwards are up there with the best but we're suffering in midfield at the moment. With Pienaar and Arteta absent we're struggling to keep the ball, forcing long balls from the back, which in turn restricts our real strength (strikers) to feeding off of scraps. Once we get the midfield sorted out then we'll be fine, and really a midfield of Neville/Rodwell, Arteta, Cahill/Fellaini, Pienaar, Billy is a very good one. Just need to get them fit.

Carlo Nash : Been there done that, sat on more benchs than a Judge.
Tony "The Shoe" Hibbert : What can I say about Hibbert that hasnt been said before, feck all really.
Lucas Neil : Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, oi, oi, oi.
Johnny "The Hitman" H : I love him.
Sukrjajaj Mustafu : German Bin Lid, Superstar.
Leon Osman : See Hibbert.
Anton "Eminem" Peterlin : I bet he wishes he was still in America.
Mouranne "The Mop" Fellaini : Big huge hair.
Dan "Who put the ball in the RS net" Gosling : He scored against the RS, leg-end innit.
Cody Arnouxuux : Who?
James "Knees of glass" Vaughan.

Options.
