Players whose careers "improved" after they left us

Always like the fact that players are basically doomed after they leave us. Who went onto real success in terms of silverware after leaving us. Rooney obviously. Who else? And on the other hand, who left us thinking they were going on to greater things and then ended up with Sunderland?

Hardly.

Radzinski. Ended up playing for the mighty Lierse SK in before making a tremendous career move by dropping down a level. All that after making a name for himself at the extremely ambitious Fulham.

Certainly Joleon Lescott won things after leaving us but he never looked the same player so I wouldn't include him.

Lescott, Fellaini, Arteta, and Rodwell all move onto "top 4" clubs, but play their best football for us.

Lescotts career improved because he went to city. He definetly didn't improve as a footballer. He probably played better for us to be fair.

Arleta surely. He's won things for arsenal and earning well more than he was at us.
