As the title says, players who over time if we had signed would have made us even better than what we were. No silly answers though like messi or ronaldo and no 'well we tried to sign' nonsense, just players who at the time who could have been bought would have made our team better.
For me there was;
Sessengon- Very good attacking midfielder and someone who would have added to the team in a solid and unspectacular way. Perfect under a moyes team.
savage- Not everyones favourite player but after we lost lee carsley he may have been the anchor we lacked at the time. I know we apparently were in for him at the time but im assuming there was no solid evidence on that, simply basing him on the player instead.
Benteke- very similar price to kone and signed the same summer. Realistically we could have scouted him ala Villa and we would be sitting on a very good player and one that could have challenged lukaku.
Mousa Sissoko- Really rate this player and if he was anywhere other than newcastle he would be spoken of a lot higher. Great talent and has hardowrk and power in his style.
