I dont understand the crazy market value they place on them if they're going on frees.

Diego would be great.

I think its all things considered what their 'worth' would be if they werent bosmans.

Could make a decent side out of those names though. Expect quite a few to move in January I reckon.

I reckon we'll try to sign Fernando from Porto. Apparently tried to sign him in the summer window, but with only 6 months left of his contract in January we could get him for a fairly small fee. Wouldn't mind Raul Garcia from Atletico Madrid either. Also, Jeremy Menez would be boss, but that will never happen.

There's also this Israeli guy, Bibras Natkho, who has a contract that runs out at the end of this year and could be available for free from January 1st. Defensive playmaker, plays for Rubin Kazan in Russia. In my opinion just the type of player we need. Last I heard he might be off to Schalke, but you never know...

There's a lot of fish in the sea in January for sure.

I'd take Kaboul or Lescott as CB options, Lescott and Jagielka were great together.

Eliseu from Málaga is a belter. Couldn't hurt for a year or so. Tbh, i'd take Shane Long too, he's certainly better than Koné or Jelavic.

Just seen Fernando is on there too, Imagine! He'll be the new Manuel Fernandes him! All the others i know little of, OR we won't sign.. I.E. Alonso, Menez

Oh I see.

Martinez would probably go for McGeady and Beausejour.

The list includes expiring loans.

Surprising that Alonso is being allowed to wind his contract down. He'd still be a good signing for someone at 31 but we'll probably have Barry by then and we'll want younger legs alongside him.

Diego from Wolfsburg could be good competition for Barkley.
Montoya from Barca could be good for someone. Maybe Sagna's replacement at Arsenal?
I'd take Lescott back if Distin is retiring.
Tom Ince will undoubtedly end up in the Premier League.
Maybe we'll take McGeady as a squad man?
Joe Ledley is only 26? I do rate him. Perhaps he'll head back to Cardiff, if they stay up?
Would Martinez fancy Jordi Gomez?

Tbh I think lescott has declined a lot over the last 12-18months. Think Distin has probably got as much football left in him as lescott has. I think we're at that stage with a new manager and new playing style that a big ( by our standards) purchase is needed at CB. Someone like martins indi who can be a permanent fixture for years to come.

Would love Honda off that list for CM. Very versatile, can play deeper or more attacking and even wide. Imagine several others will be in for him tho... Prob spurs!!

Always been against getting Ince but I'm warming to the idea on a free. I also think he's a sensible lad in regards to his next move, will want to play not warm a bench which counts out the teams above us. If RM wants him, I think he'll be here come summer.
