Player watch v Bury

Vaughan looked really lively, had a few chances that he was unlucky with. Saha skied a couple of shots, standard header for his goal.

A couple of great saves from Carlo Nash, Jo still getting caught offside. First goal for Bury was a great cross and great header, I wouldn't blame the keeper too much, the second one was an average goal, we didn't do enough in defense for it, no single person to fault just overall average goal  . Jo looked quite good, should get better as the preseason goes on but looked pretty lively.

Baines put some good crosses in, not seen much from the youngsters like Akpan and Peterlin, Agard din't do much in attack

What about Coleman?

Pretty anonymous if I'm honest, well when I say that I mean he wasn't featured much in the highlights, had more of Hibbert than Coleman

Good post.

I thought Peterlin & Mustafi looked decent enough, they were tidy without doing anything too special, nice little run out considering they're both young & have only just signed.

Thought Coleman did really well in the 2nd half, nothing of any real note in the 1st half at right back but in the 2nd half moved to left back & was really willing to get up & down the line. Think it had more to do with instructions from the manager rather than the change of position but he has excellent pace & seemed to have the stamina to get forward & back on a regular basis.
