Stanley Parker
Player Valuation: £15m
The players almost certainly can't be replaced affordably. And they'll know it.
Well, in that case, the manager's hands are tied.

Roberto isn't limited to Plan A or Plan B. He tightened up the defence in the new year with three clean sheets, and only conceded a last minute goal from a deflected shot at Chelsea.
But the game at Kiev was reminiscent of the home defeat against Chelsea. The defence was caught out early in the game and never really settled after that. The team went forward in search of goals and the defence was exposed over and over again.
Also reminiscent of many more games this season!
We had a 1 goal lead, the way RM had the team play from the off was asking for trouble and I am not even going into aspects of team selection. However I am not going to discuss the game with you as all the points arising from the defeat have been thoroughly discussed elsewhere. In addition little point in my doing so with an RM aficionado.
I don't know why you have posted here if you only want to discuss Roberto with fans who don't like him.
I can clearly see that Roberto has made mistakes. But I am willing to defend him against the more ridiculous accusations made here.
Let's judge him on what he has actually done, not on events that are imaginary or misunderstood.
I will go along with that but forget last season that is now unimportant, judge him on this season and the remaining games. ATM we have won a miserable hand full of games and the likes of the teams above us is embarrassing.
Think your on the wrong site mate - no plan B at evertonRight! After taking some time to reflect, on what was a truly shocking game last night. I'm sure I'm echoing the thoughts of many evertonians when I say "where's the plan B??".
Yes he didn't have one, but last night was just one of many poor performances throughout this shocker of a season!
The key let down (among many) is the lack of true wing play and a defence that are so poor, many a pub team would be eyeing us up for easy points.
Realising that the joy of QPR away is just round the corner and not knowing if we can turn up and put a few past them or scrape a last minute draw in an all out relegation scrap - I thought, well I like to moan about it but what would I do?
The answer is.... play Baines LW and Coleman RW - With Garbutt and Browning at left and right back respectively.
Surely this would solve the problem of having wingers who don't track back and could even allow Coleman to find his excellent attacking form that kept many of us off our seats last season! Plus having Garbutt & Baines launching in crosses is surely an exciting prospect ?!
It's just my 2 pence to solve one of the many problems this season and it's my first forum post! So I'd like to hear what you think / what would be your plan B? Other than the obvious "Sack him" shouts - which I still believe are too early (But that's for another post!).
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to send Bill Kenwright my CV!
Roberto has faced the task of playing Thursday games in Europe this season. Managers at other clubs have found this difficult too. So perhaps this isn't the best season to judge him by our league position.
Brendan Rodgers also faced his first season in Europe, and he has been quickly eliminated from two competitions.
Could be other managers this season may have found it difficult this season, not sure which clubs you mean are they down near the bottom like Everton?
It's well documented that managers at other clubs in prior seasons have found it difficult playing Thursday games in Europe.
Right! After taking some time to reflect, on what was a truly shocking game last night. I'm sure I'm echoing the thoughts of many evertonians when I say "where's the plan B??".
