Plan B?

Yet another continental manager who thinks “I’ll attack against everyone”. Works for a bit and then gets spectacularly found out. We’ve seen so many in the league and I expect him to be back to Portugal when he is inevitably sacked by us.

I am sure there is, or was a Plan A. The club had been mis-managed for years resulting in a bloated playing squad which was not equipped to deal with the upper end of the Premier League.
Any manager was going to struggle sorting out the mess we were in, any manager was going to take time to sort out the mess. I don't know if Silva is good enough to challenge at the top end of the table but he is working away shipping out the dross we have bought over recent years in conjunction with Brands. Everton have a painful transformation to go through, which includes a new stadium before there is continued success at the club.
We are in flux at the moment, the management team have some players they want and some they don't, the bulk of the players could be ousted at any time. It is not a happy situation but it is one we have to go through.
I don't know if Silva is good enough, but I am not sure any manager could have come into Everton and sorted the mess while being successful on the pitch.
Unfortunately Inthink we still have a way to go.

There’s no plan A. Been saying it a while. No connection between defence, midfield and attack. Plan A would improve our results. At the moment it’s just ‘play from the back, even in dangerous situations and try and score.’

Tottenham game proved to me he clearly doesn’t watch other teams and how they play. I suspected it and now it’s being confirmed every week.

It’s hard to have a plan b when he trusts only about 14 players . Until he gets more of the turd bought by previous managers out the door and his own men in we are going to struggle. We always knew this season was going to be a tough one . But probably not this bad .

Yeah that's what I keep telling myself too... But it is becoming increasingly more tiring to go through this period... I just wonder if he's currently doing what he did in the League Cup exit by giving players one last chance to show some fight or be shipped out? Maybe he knows this is transitional too and in reality, we're still only 3 points off the 7th spot and with just under half a season to go, knows that is still very achievable... But totally agree that the 'turd', nice choice of word, needs to be gone before we can see his actual team and playing style!
