I watched about 20 minutes of the leaders debate on BBC1 this evening and Paul Nuttall ( UKIP ) was saying he would not pay the money the EU are demanding as a "divorce settlement".

Leanne Woods of Plaid Cymru asked him if he would pay his dues in a personal divorce settlement and when he basically ignored the silly point she continued " ah yes well we all know blokes like you".

Not people or divorced people or alimony dodgers but "blokes".

Sexism pure and simple and not even mentioned by anyone.

Any Welsh fans on here please know that the leader of Plaid is a sexist.

He is a man, it surely isn't sexist when talking to a man to say "a man like you", if she had been talking to a woman then she would have said "a woman like you" presumably.
If I was comparing all dogs to a particular dog and I said "a dog like that one" am I being doggist. I think not.

i work with her mate, Leanne I Wood i refer to her as in the office ... kind of carried a bit more substance a few years back tbh, but yeah, i'm back in work tomorrow although it's recess so she won't be in the office, i'll drop her an e-mail ;)
