Pitchforks out for Fellaini

I don't understand all the criticism. Yes he has a tendancy to be clumsy, and we got a very decent fee for him - but he's a great player and he needs to be given the chance to prove it. H's had some good games for United and some not so good - but i'd still take him back if we could.

i always hoped he would make it as a defensive midfielder, not that he was bad as a roving forward hoof-magnet, but with him and Cahill alone up front our football often got grim.

he once destroyed Man City from the base of midfield, back when we used to beat them every time, for all the billions. he was like a magnet for their every clearance, and he capped it off by pirouetting like a matador around charging bull Craig Bellamy. but alas, from then on he was mostly indifferent in the position. Gana now looks far more intelligent and nimble there, and even year one of James McCarthy was an upgrade.
