Pies and Pasties

I'm just about to dig into a meat and potato pie, only a hollands frozen one to my shame but I love a meat and potato pie. In fact I'm quite a fan of all pies and pasties.

Any other pie lovers and what flavours do you like.

That's amazing. I usually buy one at half time, then by the time I get home it's just about cool enough to eat without irradiating my tongue. lol

Oh I’m going back a few years now.
I’d say pre Scouse pie even..

I ordered a special from a pie shop the other week, didn't look to see what it was as i eat anything but I still don't know what it was haha nice though.

I very rarely buy anything but ale in Goodison, but I once bought a cheese and onion pie from the kiosk at the top of the back stairs in the Lower Street End.

Well, there was very little what could describe as cheese and the onion must have still been in the field. Anyway, Pieminister do some splendid pies.

It's a bit of a palava but homemade pork pies are worth the effort if you can be bothered.

On a way back from Swansea away we ended up coming up the A483 and stopped in Llangolen and there's a place there that does pies and pasties.

My God, their pastis (or as they call it an oggie) were brilliant. It's right in the middle if you ever get to go there.
