Hoping to beat his goal scoring record for a season which currently stands at just 7.
Not a great return for such an attacking player but feel this may be his year to get near double figures

I definately think he'll get about 10 this year and deserves it. I think...well if we get his damn contract sorted, Next year will be even a bigger goal tally for him if we have a fully fit squad and Arteta in the centre of midfield, it will give him more chances to attack instead of him being the creator as he is this year.

5 so far but feel his game may suffer when mikky moves back into the centre and pienaar gets shunted out to the left again.

He's played on the wing for the majority of the season, I don't see how his game will suffer because Arteta's coming into the side.

I don't think his game has improved that much since his central role. He has been one of our most consistent performers since Arteta's injury. Even when wide linking up with Baines he took on the mantle of being our most creative player after Micky. I for one think he is better for the team playing wide left as he always cuts in to allow the overlap anyway, thats the way moyes like to use his full backs. Them 2 at the end of last season tore teams apart. he has to play there when micky gets fully fit.

I don't know if he will sign a contract something tells me he is waiting to see which comps we're playing in next season. He is SA best player and they are the host nation for the biggest tornement in the world which will have everyone watching. We need to do it before that kicks off or he will be gone. Fingers crossed Moyes can get him on a long contract as i think he is a class act.
